This is an FYI posting, and has also been done as a press release.

 In 2008, JFRocks will be offering only 2 options for new release purchase, FULL PRODUCT DOWNLOAD and CD-ROM.
YOUR PURCHASE OPTIONS:
DOWNLOADS ROCK! Downloads gives you the full JFRocks product in an easy, downloadable format. You will get the full product, including video, audio, note-for-note tab components and jamTrax. There is no waiting for shipping with downloads, so you will be able to get and start using your product more quickly.
CD-ROM gives you the full JFRocks product just like the download option. You will get the full product, including video, audio, note-for-note tab components and jamTrax. This is the best option for those of you that do not have high-speed download capability. The CD-ROMs work on both PCs and Macs, and is a very consistent and reliable.
What about DVDs? Aren’t you offering them anymore?
For a small team like the one at JFRocks, only offering download and CD-ROM formats has become a requirement. Producing and processing DVDs is very time and resource intensive and is taking away from our ability to produce guitar lessons. We want and need to devote more of our time to creating new releases, doing more electric and acoustic lessons, providing ear training and answering your questions with mailbag videos on the website. Switching to download and CD-ROM options only allows us to do just that, stay focused on creating great lessons and music.
We look forward to continuing to create some of the most innovative and useful guitar instructional web lessons and products on the market. And we hope that you will continue to support the JFRocks website through download and CD-ROM purchases.
